These playful maracas are distributed by Maya Traditions who has formed a strong working relationship with groups of women from the mountainous villages of Chichicastenango. Using hollowed out gourds the women carefully dye and laquer the shakers with organic dyes and handpaint each of the designs. (Price is per pair).
